Population & Distribution2: Total population is 1,933,510, mainly distributed in the area of Yunnan Province, Guizhou Province and Hunan Province.

Spoken and Written Language: Bai people speak Bai language which is belong to the Tibetan-Burmese group of the Chinese-Tibetan language family. Chinese are also used prevalently.

Religious Belief: Worship of the Communal God (Village God) and also believe in Buddhism.
