Enclosed stilted house is the exact replica of traditional Tujia residential house in Yongshun area, west of Hunan province. It is the most complicate building in various stilted houses that is usually built by rich family. There is a decorated archway in front the house and a courtyard in the center which surrounded by the houses on other three sides. The building complex looks magnificent and the stilted structure on all sides are useful defensive facility against the external attack. Self contained arrangement also provides a comfortable living environment.
The house is timber structured building with tile covered roof. Four corners of the roof are bent upwards. There is balcony in front the building and corridors on other three sides. The building has three stories. There are rooms for livestock feeding and storage on first floor. The rooms for living and granary are located on the second and third floor.

The most impressive parts of such building are stilted corridors and the elegant carvings. Every piece of curved wood beam is made natural. There for, it will take many years to collect such material for a building.
