The Totem Pole
The totem pole is the first large cast iron totem pole in China, which is located on both sides of the east entrance of Ethnic Park Road between south and north park. The two totem poles are 23 meters high and 4 meters in diameter. They are designed by the head of the China Ethnic Museum and sculptor Ms. Wang Ping. Their design inspiration comes from the totem of ethnic groups in Guizhou province.
Walking along the Olympic Avenue connecting the North Third Ring Road and the North Fourth Ring Road, you will see the Landscape of China Ethnic Park in the shade on the west side of the Avenue. The totem pole is towered at the eastern entrance of the Ethnic Park Road, which is at the junction of the South Park and the North Park. The background is the National Bridge connecting the South Park and the North Park.
