Gin Museum is exact replica of the traditional dwellings in Fangchenggang, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It was built according to the national convention and traditional construction technique. The building work was completed and the museum officially opened to the public in 2003.
The museum consists of stone houses, Ha pavilion and a small river bend. The planning is designed according to the fisherman living environment near the coast. The vegetation is arranged in accordance to the local environment. The museum covers a ground area of 280 square meters and a building area of 58.71 square meters.
The indoor and outdoor displays of the museum are live settings of the traditional production and lifestyle of Gin. The items in exhibit are collected from Fangchenggang area, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. They are product of modern times about one hundred years of history.
